Fever vs. Aces Prediction (10/1/2026): WNBA Playoffs Game 3 Pick
Game 3 opened Tuesday night at Aces -4.5 with Las Vegas at -166 on the moneyline. By Thursday morning the same book had the Aces at -198, and Pinnacle had moved from -4 to -5. We are on the side the market moved toward: Las Vegas -4.5 (-108) at Caesars, a one-unit play in a series where the home team has won both games by double digits.

How Far Did Game 3 Move After Indiana Evened the Series?
Toward Las Vegas, and almost all of it on the moneyline. Our odds archive has 373 retail captures since DraftKings posted the game shortly after Indiana’s Game 2 win. DraftKings at each turn:
| DraftKings (ET) | Aces spread | Moneyline (LV / IND) | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tue. 8:44 p.m., first post | -4.5 (-105) | -166 / +140 | 183.5 |
| Wed. 1:52 p.m. | -4.5 (-105) | -180 / +150 | 180.5 |
| Thu. 4:59 a.m. | -4.5 (-110) | -198 / +164 | 180.5 |
Pinnacle tells the same story more loudly. It had Las Vegas -4 at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday and jumped to -5 at 4:30 a.m. Thursday. Caesars still deals -4.5 at -108, so our number sits half a point under the sharper book’s line. That is the reason we are laying it today rather than waiting.
Do Kalshi Traders See Game 3 the Same Way?
Yes, which was not true for Game 2. Before that game Kalshi had Las Vegas slightly favored while the books leaned Indiana. This time the Kalshi Game 3 market trades Las Vegas at 64 to 65 cents, with more than 98,000 contracts on the two sides combined. With the vig removed, the DraftKings moneyline implies about 64% for the Aces. Two different markets landing on the same number does not make it right, but it does mean nobody is offering a stale price on either side.
What It Took for Indiana to Win Game 2
A lot went right for Indiana at home, per the Game 2 box score:
- Shooting: Indiana made 37 of 71 shots (52.1%); Las Vegas made 25 of 59 (42.4%).
- The second quarter: down 29-18, Indiana went on a 20-6 run, won the quarter 30-17 and never trailed again, per ESPN’s recap.
- Three scorers over 20: Caitlin Clark 27 points and 15 assists, Kelsey Mitchell 26, Aliyah Boston 22 on 10-of-15.
- What did not change: both teams had 11 turnovers, and Las Vegas went 30-of-34 at the line to Indiana’s 17-of-24.
Las Vegas lost a game in which it shot 42% and still got 31 points from Jackie Young. Clark fouled out late. In Game 1 at home, the Aces shot 38-of-64, A’ja Wilson had 38 points, and Indiana’s 16 turnovers became 28 Las Vegas points in a 102-85 win. Indiana’s shooting in Game 2 is the number least likely to repeat on the road.
Indiana Has Already Won Twice in Las Vegas This Year
That is the best case for the Fever, and the main reason this is one unit and not more. Indiana won 84-68 in Las Vegas on July 5 and 109-75 there on July 12. Neither Wilson nor Clark played in the first, and the second was the back half of an Aces home back-to-back, so neither tells us much about tonight. Las Vegas went 15-7 at home in the regular season.
For transparency: we took the Aces in Game 2 at even money and lost. The argument then was form on the road. The argument tonight is the venue, which has decided both games so far, and a price the market has been moving toward.
Clark and Boston Are Probable; Watch the Wilson Fallout
Indiana lists Clark (back) and Boston (right lower leg) as probable, per the Fever’s Game 3 report. Tyasha Harris and Damiris Dantas are out for the playoffs. Las Vegas is again without Dana Evans (knee) and NaLyssa Smith (leg), per ESPN’s Game 3 page.
The Pick: Aces -4.5 at -108, One Unit
Lay -4.5 at Caesars, and not -5.5 at BetRivers. Any Las Vegas win by four points or fewer loses this bet, and an elimination game is more likely than most to come down to the last two minutes. We are not betting the total. It opened at 183.5 and sits at 181.5 even though both games in the series went over.

Frequently Asked Questions
What bettors are asking before the deciding game.
Why Lay Points With Las Vegas After Indiana Won Game 2 by 10?
Because both games so far went to the home team by double digits, and Game 3 is in Las Vegas. Indiana needed 52% shooting and a 30-17 second quarter to win at home, which is hard to repeat on the road.
Is the Aces Moneyline Better Than the Spread Tonight?
Not at these prices. The best licensed Aces moneyline is -176 at FanDuel, which needs Las Vegas to win about 63.8% of the time to break even. Laying -4.5 at -108 asks for a margin instead, and we think the venue makes that the better use of the money.
What Happens to This Bet if Caitlin Clark Has a Game Like Game 2?
It probably loses. Clark had 27 points and 15 assists in Game 2 and is averaging 21 points and 12.5 assists in the series. The bet assumes Las Vegas defends her more like it did in Game 1, when she had 15 points and six turnovers.
Could A’ja Wilson Be Suspended for Game 3?
Nothing reported points that way. Her technical foul from the fan confrontation carries an automatic $500 fine, and she was not ejected. Check the final injury and discipline news before tip-off anyway.
